The members of Moe Fishbone started as a group of electronic technicians working the graveyard shift at the Post Office. Everyone working the graveyard shift was nicknamed Moe.This sparked a sort of language including terms such as hey Moe, what’s up Moe, yo Moe, Moelicious, and Moe brained. As the Moe phenomenon progressed, Moe’s needed last names in order to distinguish them. Hence the names Moe Welding and Moe Williams. When it came to Moe Fisher, it was changed over time to Moe Fishbone. The rest, as they say is
“Moe History.” Influenced by artists like The Beatles, Elvis, Devo, and Matchbox 20, this band knows how to have a good time!
Want to hear some Moe? Check them out on Saturday, August 26th at Sweetwater Riverdeck.
